She lay there lifeless as if she was a statue made from stone. Carissa slowly wasted another minute of her life. A minute she could never get back. That minute slowly turned into minutes and those minutes slowly turned into hours. Those hours turned into days and so on. Time is a very peculiar concept. It can changes all of its surrounding but you can never change time. Time stops for no one, including Carissa but there she was fighting against it, sleeping away time; As if there was a pause button in life. She lay there, letting her brown curly hair let loose; scrawling down on her bed sheets. Her mouth open wide and a tunnel of drool slipped down her mouth and her eyes sealed shut.
A dream: one way to get away from time; away to forget about now and finally get to see your life in a new perspective. “Why can’t life be like a dream?” Carissa thought to herself.
A sound of a sharp knife, diced through a soft red and white oak wood, awakening drowsy little Carissa. She rubbed her eyes to let the chunks of sleepy fairydust fall. Right in front of her was a tall body built man with a wreck of a beard as each hair was tangled like knotted rope. He was holding a acuminated silver axe. She screamed as she looked at the collage of tree's surronding her. Now Carrisa knew that time was always peculiar for her, taking her to the weirdest places but isn't that how it is for everyone?
She slowly slid off the warm perspiring blanket off her and walked barefoot onto the jagged rock covered ground. She walked her way towards the bearded man. "Can you get off my property?"
"Can you get off my damn dream? You dream catchers are always the same, distorting time and such." The bearded man said.

The creature
The creature's long nails that look like shark teeth shred deep into the skin of your terrified sister. Thick strawberry blood slivers down her like a snake. You try to scream but you can’t find yourself. You're there yet you don't know where. The creature tightly grabs your sister's pale clammy hand with its raisin like skin, pulling your sister closer. That violent creature grabs your sister's ceramic neck and squeezes it until her flawless pale face turns purple. Her screams echo around the corridor. Then fades away as her eyes seal shut. Her body drops in a warm pool of blood. She isn't breathing; she's gone. I witness this yet I do not cry instead I watch the creature look into the mirror and what does it see? It sees me…
Undecided Ghost Chapt 1
I never really expected to die but then again I never expected anything that happened this past year. If I could change one thing, I would change the day my dad and Caitlin met. Maybe I would have lived a normal life just like any other teenager...
********************************
I never thought it was possible to actually look at yourself in another person’s perspective but there I was staring at my own body.My eyes scanned around to see my own eye’s closed shut. As the light shined upon my black hair, it looked as if I had red highlights. My face looked pale and my hands were clammy as my body laid on the gross hospital bed. It looked as if I were a ghost...
Yet if anything was a ghost it wouldn’t be my body, it would be me as I stood there not knowing what to say or do. I just stood there, motionless. My hand reached out to touch my body's shirt but instead it went through. I couldn't feel a thing as my hand went through my own body. "What's happening?"
I thought of what happened last night as Caitlin's brownish red eyes darted at me as she slowly handed me the orange drink. "Here, you look thirsty. Why don't you take a drink? Her voiced gave me the chills as she hissed the word "drink". That moment I knew something was up. Caitlin being nice to me. That just didn't seem right...
My mouth opened to show my teeth as I proceeded to make a fake smile. My mouth felt dry and salty. I needed that drink. "Th-Thank you." I hesitated as I grabbed the drink from her hands. Never did I say thank you to Caitlin, especially since she ruined my life but I knew if she was playing nice, I had to too.
I gulped down the thick chunky liquid and slowly handed her the cup. Caitlin had that sinister smile on her face. At that moment I regretted drinking that horrid liquid. My face began to turn purple. I couldn't breath. Everything became blurry and all my surroundings blackened. At that moment before I fully fainted, I thought to myself, "She won..."
Then I woke up and found myself staring at my own body. One part of me was in the hospital and the other stood next to my body as if I were a ghost.
Thoughts began to pop in my head. "What's going on? How is this possible," and "Is this all a dream?"
Suddenly a tall man walked into the room. He was wearing whites scrubs. I stared at his beautiful flawless face and then stared into his brown mysterious eyes. "Hello there." I greeted him. I grinned at him but he didn't even make eye contact towards me. In fact he wasn't even assisting my unconscious body. He was walking towards the patient that I shared a room with. "I can't touch people and now I can't talk to people that's great. What is going on?"
"Hello!" I heard an unfamiliar voice from behind me. I jumped and then turned around to see three children.
"You can see me!" I responded.
"Of course we can! We are ghost." Said a boy with bleached blond hair.
"We came here to tell your mission." A little girl squeaked. Her brown hair bounced up and down as she tapped her foot on the ground.
"What are you talking about?" My voice began to have a tint of annoyance in it.
The oldest girl began to speak.,"Well, when Catlin poisoned you, she tried to kill you...."
"Obviously!" I interrupted.
"Anyway", she continued, "you somehow were immune to the poison and went to the hospital and have been unconscious since then. Yet it seemed as if part of you died because part of you is a ghost. We never really experienced seeing an undecided ghost but...."
"Wait a minute, are you saying that I'm half died and half alive! This doesn't make any sense! I cried.
"We don't get that part either." The boy announced. There then was a deadly silence in the room.
"How did you guys die anyway." I asked, trying to break the irritating silence that had filled the room before.
"Catlin...." The little girl murmured.
"Catlin was our step mom also. She murdered us and our family's and made it look like an accident. Then she takes our family's money..."Catlin" has done this to more than a dozen families and has gotten away with it because she disguises as a different person each time." The boy explained to me.
"I knew Catlin was evil." I shook my head.
"Now, since you're the only who isn't completely dead. You must try to communicate with the humans and get proof that Catlin is evil."
"But how will I do that? I already tried to communicate with someone once and they couldn't hear me." I asked but the three ghost seemed to have already disappeared in thin air and left me alone with two unconscious body and a nurse that couldn't hear me.
