Fight It

Screams of the inevitable taste of distinction
Wash the shores of your fearful lips
 new and scared
Scared to make a sound
So you let yourself drown
Then you got one more chance
Revealing challenge is a gift
It scares you but you fight it
You want to make a difference
Before you leave this place
And you did
But it’s a struggle
Fighting for your life
 You keep going
 Keep trying
You refuse to leave this place
It’s a revelation of success ands failure
You refuse to give in
To let go

You will fight

Slivers

She drowned slowly slivering silence
Calculating countless conundrums cultivating cries
There tasteless breath timed through temper
Malicious mirrors of mighty mist marked her
Play parts of patterns as she was left drowning
She slivers in silence, dissapearing

Constitutional Law Anagram Poem

Concurring topics vary through substantive due process
Withhold from corporations shaped by the fourteenth amendment
Constellations of interstate commerce form a new doctrine
Protecting public health
These laws vow to regulate citizenship and safety
Privileges and immunities or "miss ties and privilege unit m"
"M" stands for meters
Meters, kilometers, miles can't and won't measure these cases
They can't and will not measure a person's equality
No math can measure
Nor can a parchment of paper
constitute equal rights
It should be known
We are and always have been equal

She Couldn't Do It

She barely could make it
Her lips quivered, trembling with doubt
She couldn't do it as much as she tried
She couldn't leave them
They were her home
Somewhere
Maybe, she would found a place for herself
But right now she needed them
Has she grown
Perhaps not
Perhaps she is afraid to leave her bubble
Perhaps she is afraid to live
Perhaps she isn't even alive

Lie After Lie

Lie after countless lie
I believed
When the truth was told
Denied
I didn't see it coming
I want to trust you
I do
But lie after lie
I promise
 I'll be your friend
If you can be mine
Just remember
Lie after lie
Hurt after hurt
I believed

Complements to Friends and Family

I like your silliness- the different world you see between the eyes.
I like your artistic ability-The way you capture a world, through brush or camera.
I like your intelligence- The way you understand things through math and words.
I like your friendliness- The way you are able to make a friend within a blink of an eye
I like your kindness- Always so welcoming and kind to everyone you meet.
I like your ambition- Always working so hard and accomplishing a lot
I like both of your tech skills- The way you are able to comprehend electronics is a skill I wish I had.
I like the way you want to understand the world and traveled here is so brave.

My Enemy

His breath was inches away
His prickly beard brushed against my gentle skin
I wanted to escape
I did
Because at that moment I recognized him flawless in my memories
My enemy
The one who killed my dad
Hugging me
I couldn’t
I wouldn’t

But there I was hugging him back
