Captured Drawing

The scene opens in the freezing cold December, in the suburbs of New York, where infinitive wind, strangles ghostly pale, 5"1 Louis as she tries to make it back home to her small impeccable house. Then out of an ordinary day the impossible happens. EXT: Louis struggles against, the violent winds, going at unimaginable speeds. Insert: posture as being funny and lopsided as the wind pulls down on her soft delicate skin. Insert: Begins to melt, turning into gooey undesirable liquid. Louis: What's happening to me? Insert: voice echoes. (No one answers) Louis forms into some sort of drawing, stuck like glue onto the ground. Insert: writing magically appears surrounding her, giving her the answers, the reasons in why she turned into this peculiar drawing. Reading: Those born as a drawing are given one wish and three wishes to be a real person, to be happy or the chose of Riches. Once you choose you will forget about your one wish. However, it will come temporarily true but two of them have consequences and only one is the right choice. You had a choice and you choose to be a human. That is the wrong choice and now you are stuck as a picture for infinity. To be continued.

Marhaba

Father has lost it again. Doesn't he always? His bits of night sky chalk pieces of hair stayed tightened like a metal helmet around his head as he peered through the window. ”They should be coming anytime now.” He banged his fist at the wooden door; banged it so hard the bones could be heard cracking like glass.
“Papa calm down. They’ll make it.” I said. He turned to me, his dark chocolate eyes filled with soulless hope contaminating my body whole.
“I know they will.” His words came out like candy cracking his teeth. His wrinkled forehead looked like a folded cloth.
“Papa, we are safe; don’t worry.” I said. My hand grabbed my yellow smooth hijab that was tightly around my head.
“We are overdue-the Janjaweed-they will be coming.” Papa said, his pupils growing. He paced back and forth around the petite wooden house; his earring dangling, sounding like plops of rain.“
We can’t afford to think like that papa.” I said a lie that spiraled from my mouth. I too was having heavy thoughts of viscous men on their galloping horses carrying big guns, slaughtering every living thing that stepped foot in this place. I had tearful memories of how they killed my mom right in front of my eyes; eyes too innocent to be revealed to this monstrosity. I was locked in a dark cupboard. I looked through a gaping hole to see a towering black man, the same color skin of my mom and I, clawing at her pushing her as if she was a mouse. Strawberry colored blood was pouring everywhere; her soft creamy skin torn like a thin piece of paper. He then proceeded to rip off her clothing and blue Hijab. He violated her and if that wasn’t enough he took his big brown gun and pulled the trigger. Then he dumped her into a stone well as if she was garbage. I closed my eyes; they stung. My eyes opened to see a transition from my sheer glass memory to my worried father. There was a knock on the door. My father turned the knob to see a white as paper man, holding a large gun. I gulped and then backed away.“Hello.” He opened his hand; his palm revealed connecting lines; lines of trust and wrapped candies. I slowly walked towards him, my foot cold and bare. Then grabbed a candy and shoved it in my mouth. The candy was sweet and devoured my heart. I smile at him and said, “Marhaba.” He smiled back, showing his blinding white teeth.
“Marhaba, you guy’s no need to worry you are now safe.”
“What are you going to do with us?” My father asked.
“I’m here to help. I came from America. Want another candy?”  The man with the gun responded. I grabbed another one and this immediately melted in my mouth; melted all the pain of today. This one day I knew I was safe. I knew I had one other day to live.

Time As A Dream

She lay there lifeless as if she was a statue made from stone. Carissa slowly wasted another minute of her life. A minute she could never get back. That minute slowly turned into minutes and those minutes slowly turned into hours. Those hours turned into days and so on. Time is a very peculiar concept. It can changes all of its surrounding but you can never change time. Time stops for no one, including Carissa but there she was fighting against it, sleeping away time; As if there was a pause button in life. She lay there, letting her brown curly hair let loose; scrawling down on her bed sheets. Her mouth open wide and a tunnel of drool slipped down her mouth and her eyes sealed shut.
A dream: one way to get away from time; away to forget about now and finally get to see your life in a new perspective. “Why can’t life be like a dream?” Carissa thought to herself. A sound of a sharp knife, diced through a soft red and white oak wood, awakening drowsy little Carissa. She rubbed her eyes to let the chunks of sleepy fairydust fall. Right in front of her was a tall body built man with a wreck of a beard as each hair was tangled like knotted rope. He was holding a acuminated silver axe. She screamed as she looked at the collage of tree's surronding her. Now Carrisa knew that time was always peculiar for her, taking her to the weirdest places but isn't that how it is for everyone? She slowly slid off the warm perspiring blanket off her and walked barefoot onto the jagged rock covered ground. She walked her way towards the bearded man. "Can you get off my property?" "Can you get off my damn dream? You dream catchers are always the same, distorting time and such." The bearded man said.

The creature

The creature's long nails that look like shark teeth shred deep into the skin of your terrified sister. Thick strawberry blood slivers down her like a snake. You try to scream but you can’t find yourself. You're there yet you don't know where. The creature tightly grabs your sister's pale clammy hand with its raisin like skin, pulling your sister closer. That violent creature grabs your sister's ceramic neck and squeezes it until her flawless pale face turns purple. Her screams echo around the corridor. Then fades away as her eyes seal shut. Her body drops in a warm pool of blood. She isn't breathing; she's gone. I witness this yet I do not cry instead I watch the creature look into the mirror and what does it see? It sees me…

Undecided Ghost Chapt 1

I never really expected to die but then again I never expected anything that happened this past year. If I could change one thing, I would change the day my dad and Caitlin met. Maybe I would have lived a normal life just like any other teenager...

********************************

I never thought it was possible to actually look at yourself in another person’s perspective but there I was staring at my own body.My eyes scanned around to see my own eye’s closed shut. As the light shined upon my black hair, it looked as if I had red highlights. My face looked pale and my hands were clammy as my body laid on the gross hospital bed. It looked as if I were a ghost...

Yet if anything was a ghost it wouldn’t be my body, it would be me as I stood there not knowing what to say or do. I just stood there, motionless. My hand reached out to touch my body's shirt but instead it went through. I couldn't feel a thing as my hand went through my own body. "What's happening?"

I thought of what happened last night as Caitlin's brownish red eyes darted at me as she slowly handed me the orange drink. "Here, you look thirsty. Why don't you take a drink? Her voiced gave me the chills as she hissed the word "drink". That moment I knew something was up. Caitlin being nice to me. That just didn't seem right...

My mouth opened to show my teeth as I proceeded to make a fake smile. My mouth felt dry and salty. I needed that drink. "Th-Thank you." I hesitated as I grabbed the drink from her hands. Never did I say thank you to Caitlin, especially since she ruined my life but I knew if she was playing nice, I had to too.

I gulped down the thick chunky liquid and slowly handed her the cup. Caitlin had that sinister smile on her face. At that moment I regretted drinking that horrid liquid. My face began to turn purple. I couldn't breath. Everything became blurry and all my surroundings blackened. At that moment before I fully fainted, I thought to myself, "She won..."

Then I woke up and found myself staring at my own body. One part of me was in the hospital and the other stood next to my body as if I were a ghost.

Thoughts began to pop in my head. "What's going on? How is this possible," and "Is this all a dream?"

Suddenly a tall man walked into the room. He was wearing whites scrubs. I stared at his beautiful flawless face and then stared into his brown mysterious eyes. "Hello there." I greeted him. I grinned at him but he didn't even make eye contact towards me. In fact he wasn't even assisting my unconscious body. He was walking towards the patient that I shared a room with. "I can't touch people and now I can't talk to people that's great. What is going on?"
"Hello!" I heard an unfamiliar voice from behind me. I jumped and then turned around to see three children.
"You can see me!" I responded.
"Of course we can! We are ghost." Said a boy with bleached blond hair.
"We came here to tell your mission." A little girl squeaked. Her brown hair bounced up and down as she tapped her foot on the ground.
"What are you talking about?" My voice began to have a tint of annoyance in it.
The oldest girl began to speak.,"Well, when Catlin poisoned you, she tried to kill you...."
"Obviously!" I interrupted.
"Anyway", she continued, "you somehow were immune to the poison and went to the hospital and have been unconscious since then. Yet it seemed as if part of you died because part of you is a ghost. We never really experienced seeing an undecided ghost but...."
"Wait a minute, are you saying that I'm half died and half alive! This doesn't make any sense! I cried.
"We don't get that part either." The boy announced. There then was a deadly silence in the room.
"How did you guys die anyway." I asked, trying to break the irritating silence that had filled the room before.
"Catlin...." The little girl murmured.
"Catlin was our step mom also. She murdered us and our family's and made it look like an accident. Then she takes our family's money..."Catlin" has done this to more than a dozen families and has gotten away with it because she disguises as a different person each time." The boy explained to me.
"I knew Catlin was evil." I shook my head.
"Now, since you're the only who isn't completely dead. You must try to communicate with the humans and get proof that Catlin is evil."
"But how will I do that? I already tried to communicate with someone once and they couldn't hear me." I asked but the three ghost seemed to have already disappeared in thin air and left me alone with two unconscious body and a nurse that couldn't hear me.

Cold Hearted: Chapter 3

I laid there on the white cotton candy cloud. My body's emotions were unreadable except for my eyes which were full of mountains of fear. My lips began to quiver. "Please give me a second chance." I cried. "It was a mistake. I swear!!!"

"Swear all you want but it won't prove anything..." Her eyes glittered in the midnight stars that lit the night sky.

"You wouldn't know anyway." My eyes were like weapons that went deep into her skin. Which I must admit made me quite proud since I myself am bad at glaring but the reaction I got was not quite what I expected.

"Really." Her voice had a tint of annoyance. One of her perfect plucked eyebrows sprouted up. "Tell me, do I look similar to anyone you know?"

I began to choke on my own spit. Fear bit me like a poisonous snake. "Mi-Mir-Miranda...Well....I..I'm sorry." Tears sprinkled down my drained white face. I sat there still like a statue.

"How can I make it up to you then?"

"You must prove yourself as being good as possible by fifty days or else you will be stuck dead like me and I will get my life back that you have stolen from me." Suddenly the lights flashed into a cloud of darkness and I was back in the hallway. People were slivering by as if nothing has ever happened. As if it was just a surreal dream...

Cold Hearted chapter:2

I looked around at the reticent hallway...Everything looked the same as if everything was normal but something didn't feel right. It is not just because no one was in sight. Even through everything looked the same the atmosphere felt different as if I was never here before.

I slowly started walking towards the door. Then I went down the steep stairway and opened the back door to see grey puffs of clouds going in a circular motion...

Everything started to spin again. Then I couldn't see a thing...

.....................................................................................

I woke up to feel a strong and deadly breeze pushing down on me. All the white clouds were just a big blur. It seemed as if I was falling yet I did not fall anywhere.

All of a sudden all the gravity that was pulling me down, stopped. I looked down to see a giant puffy cloud I have landed upon. "Am I in the sky."

My eyes scanned around to see a figure. The figure started to walk towards me. The figure had long blond strands of hair. She was pale and she was wearing a long white silk ed dress. As she came closer, I came to see two things flickering behind her, soft delicate wings.

Soon enough the women like figure stood directly in front of me. "We gave you many chances but you blow them all..."

"What are you talking about." I asked.

"Don't tell me you forgot what you have done." The angel like person responded. Her tone of voice seemed to give me chills.

I thought for a moment..."That was a long time ago!" I complained.

"Yes, but even after what you did you never were sorry and continue till this very day to be a self absorbed, spoiled brat!" Each and every word she said gave me pain to my stomach...

You killed her and now it's time to pay that price..."

Cold Hearted Chapter: 1

Cold Hearted Chapter:  I felt the blood pumping through my veins, releasing all the fear and adrenaline within me. Everything seemed like a blur. My heart was beating as loud as a drum. A tear slid down my face. The tear left a wet slimy mark on my cheek, an undeserved kiss. Everything I thought, I knew, now seemed unfamiliar as if it was never there in the first place. I never met insanity but if I had I’d say I was there. It all started as I sat there, staring at the blank piece of paper. As I stared at the white parchment, everything surrounding me seemed to spin. "Please, tell me we have 10 minutes left, please!" I thought to myself. I looked up at the clock to see that there was only five minutes left of the period. Thank god. Then I looked back at the paper. "Think! Think! Why can't I think of anything to write about." I started to tap my shoe on the hard polished floor. "Whoever is tapping their foot, stop!!!" Mabel cried. My foot froze in mid-air and then slowly retreated to the hard floor. The bell began to ring. "Before you leave hand in your papers." As I slowly gathered my books, I grabbed the blank pieces of paper and slowly handed them to my teacher. As she stared at the paper, she y took her glasses off and took out a handkerchief. Then proceeded to rub her lenses and slowly put the glasses back on. She continued to stare at the blank piece of parchment. "See me later." She retorted. As I  turned my way towards the door, I rolled my eyes. Then I headed towards my locker. I galloped through the hallways and I noticed a tiny light that continued to flickered. It seemed as if the light that was flickering was contagious because pretty soon all the lights started to flicker. Then came the darkness. I heard screams and then silence. The lights turned back on as if everything was normal. The hallway was abandoned and not one person was in sight. In fact everything felt as if this place was unfamiliar as if I was never there in the first place. I felt the blood pumping through my veins, releasing all the fear and adrenaline within me Everything seemed like a blur. My heart was beating as loud as a drum. A tear slid down my face. The tear left like a wet slimy mark on my cheek, an undeserved kiss. Everything I thought, I knew, now seemed unfamiliar as if it was never there in the first place.
